Gravel screening plant

In 2004, Macdonald Excavating decided to diversify into producing screened gravel. With a consent to extract gravel from the Oreti river, Macdonald Excavating built a screening plant on site. The 10-RB dragline proved handy while building the plant as it held the conveyors in place before they were secured. 

Gravel and crusher dust for various uses

Once extracted from the Oreti River, the gravel is then washed and screened into different grades for all sorts of different uses.

Gravel and crusher dust can be used for roading, landscaping, drainage and for raising calves on in cow houses. With a bottom dumper truck, Macdonald Excavating can also deliver and spread gravel for your convenience.
